My cup is full, my house is a dog house

What a day as we drove from Linden to Coalhurst with 5 dogs in the back of the car. They didn't make a sound until we got home. Now to set up pens for the 3 puppies. The girls need their own pen so that they don't beat up little brother who we call "Claus" Still need names for the girls.
Mindy is the mother of the puppies. Belinda who shall be called "Meggie" (aka Nutmeg) is the preggie, just vegs on the pillow. Probably nervous and tired from the trip. She is quiet. Neither of the dogs bark at people coming in the door. Hope that keeps up.

Time Up

My 2 dogs left today to go back to the Kennels and visit Gramma. Their time with me was done for now. Basil made the grade as a great future stud dog. So proud of him. I will miss his Mama...Sagey Pooh... and she will miss me. I could see it in her eyes. She will enjoy her new forever home in Edmonton. I plan to get Paprika back after she mellows a bit (has been bred). She is my "forever" dog.

Basil is 3 weeks old

Dear little Basil is trying so hard to stand on his front legs. His eyes are wide open and he sure knows how to call for his Mama. Mama and Basil are so cute all cuddled up together. I hope weaning goes well.

Meet Basil

A new spice dog arrived Sept 24 at 8p.m. Labor was quick. One male dog appeared. After checking every hour or two, we realized there was only going to be one puppy. He looks to be a good sized puppy and will get bigger as he is the only one to enjoy Mommy's feast. He latched immediately. Love the white tip on his tail. He is patchy in color. His mommy is Sagey Pooh.

In keeping with the SPICE DOG theme, his name is Basil.

FYI

BIchon Shih Tzu puppies are a carefully bred dog in the sense that they do not shed, they are smaller in size and make good apartment/condo dogs. They are quick learners, they are loving pets and they are life long friends. (If you are a retiree, they will love to take you for a walk.)

The puppies at SpiceDogs are bred by a professional who has experience in breeding healthy, beautiful and intelligent dogs. In fact, this person is the originator of the Bichon/Shih Tzu breed and carries a life time warranty with their dogs.

Spicedogs will update the blog with pictures as puppies become available for sale.

Paprika and Sage

Woof Hello
We are members of the spice dog family. On the left is Paprika. She was born January 20/2010. She is a friendly dog and as vibrant as her colors.

On the right is Sage. A quiet tempered little queen of a dog. She was born May 3/2008. Her litter is due at the end of September, 2010.

We are from the Bichon/Shih Tzu breed of dogs. This means we are small, adaptable to our home environments, non shedding, loads of fun, and cute ,too.
